TV/PC Mini Computer. Will it work?!?!?
Hi,
Iv had an idea, would it work if I bought a small factor pc (preferably a shuttle) and stuck:
A. A blu ray drive in it
B. A graphics card (pcie) with hdtv output
C. An AGP TV recorder card
So I could use it to watch DVDs, Blu Ray films and record programs off of my DVR (via the TV AGP card) and onto the pc, so i can burn them onto DVD if I want to. I could also link up my sound system to it.
Would this work in concept?

Very easy to do, and works wonderfully. If you’re putting it in your TV room, I’d recommend buying a normal sized case as long as you have some sort of cabinet that could hide the PC. A standard case instead of a small form factor will help both with the selection of your graphics or TV capture
